- Slowly closing out my work for the week. Tonight I leave on a jet plane for snow, skiing & loved ones. I'm scattered today; snow in my eyes. #
- Wow…there are a lot of teeny tiny children on this flight. One has miniature combat boots. #
- Leaving @zacmakes' house, his mom waves and tries to hand us a cucumber. I manage to convince her that there is food in Maine. #
- Skiing makes my heart happy & my knees crack. Good: sweet tea at dawn, sleepy man next to me. Great: Chairlift cuddles. No bad things today. #
- Fondue with neighbors. We fight for marooned mushrooms and sing Hank Williams. Now, my brother and I wrap last gifts. Happy day, loved ones. #

- Company holiday party. Kareoke and pizza and SoCo…and a lot of belting. My Managing Director gets sauce in his shoe. We cry laughing. #
- I forgot to pick something up for the gift swap at @supertailz tonight! Luckily, I work 2 blocks from the gift shop at the Museum of Sex. #

- Curled up w/ @zacmakes. Successful/slightly stressful meeting of parents on both sides this weekend. We recover w/ pesto, gelato & cuddling. #
- Inevitably, it seems, my miniature idyll-esque vacation (complete with farmer's market!) will generate not one, but two 14-hour workdays. #
- Apparenty it's weird to walk into Staples at 8pm and request $200 worth of pens. Who knew? #
- Life Sciences seminar in the ballroom of a swank hotel. Planned in 4 weeks. It goes swimmingly; at least hard work pays off, no? Zzzzz! #
- A boatload of foxgloves, hydrangea & white roses appears on my desk. They smell glorious. The card is signed "us." My boss is being sneaky. #
