My Week on Twitter: 2009-09-25

  • Quiet evening in office, bronze sunset over Madison Square park. New construction means fresh paint smell, light-catching dust in the air. #
  • Now: precious lazy morning, eggs & Columbian coffee in the sunlit kitchen, Phil Ochs on stereo. Soon: to Brooklyn to cut @helio_girl’s hair. #
  • Sunday workdays: quiet latte, productivity, up from my desk to dance like an idiot when the overture to Tommy comes on. Hurray empty office. #
  • Dear social media: I like you. I really like you. But every once’n'a while you encourage me to be obsessive. To this I object. Relax, okay? #
  • Sara, repeat after me: It is all right to skip the gym after a 12 hour workday. It is all right to skip the gym after a 12 hour workday. #
  • We used to stay up til 3am building sets, class @ 9:10, paint-smattered, chai-ful, tech rehearsal & final papers due the same day. Remember? #
  • Office warming kicked ASS! HA! In large part through the help and hotness of roommates & co. Also, professional lighting = genius. Also, ow. #
  • 85% sure I threw my back out during my event yesterday; it aches from blades to dimples. (“Dimples of Venus,” they’re called.) Blast & damn. #
  • @MajaMajaMaja My asslaut is unhappy. But hilarious. It all works out in the end. in reply to MajaMajaMaja #
  • @egoetschius Skoo lady! I could send you pliers if you like. I would send myself, except I don’t fit through the mail slots. in reply to egoetschius #
  • Did something I haven’t done in years: fell so far into my book that I completely missed my stop on the train. Hello narrative love. #
